The practice is anticipating delivery of our supply of influenza vaccinations at the end of September, with clinics for patients expected to be on Saturday 30th of September and Saturday 7th of October.
Patients who are eligible to attend for their influenza vaccination will be invited to attend by letter or text message throughout August and September. There is no need to contact the practice regarding your invitation, unless you think you are eligible and have not heard from the practice directly by the clinic dates.
Those patients aged 50 -64 years and not in a clinical risk group, are no longer eligible for the influenza vaccination as they were during the Covid pandemic, this is direct advice from the Department of Health.
National guidance is not currently available for the Covid Autumn booster campaign, once this information is received we will endeavour to share the practice plans for administering this to patients.
